Revival (Cahayai X Alexis) - Open

It seemed that this pack had abandoned their home. Cay had already explored the plains and jungle areas and found ghostly campsites in each. Was she all alone here? Would she ever lay eyes on a wolf again? All she’d seen for months was repetitive landscapes and small creatures. Now, wandering around in the forest, she was met with unexpected pangs of hunger followed directly by the sounds of an empty stomach. She didn’t feel like hunting, her body was tired along with her mind. She’d lost hope. Maybe I should just give up. It’d be better to die than be alone here. But she continued walking, dragging her paws along the forest floor through a path beaten long ago by the wolves that used to preside here.

A shadow. Dark, formidable. “Shantun????” She leaped into the brush after the silhouette, assured that it was her long lost brother.

Alexis wonders around the wood, looking for something to eat when she caught a scent. Not just any scent, a wolf. She didn't know what to do since she hasn't came across another wolf in a long time, ever since her pack was destroyed. After she ran away, two days later her pack was wiped out and their remains start disapearing slowly, that's when she officially became a rogue. Even though she hates the Alpha, a pack is still a pack, and it was the only family she had.

Alexis start following the scent quietly, making sure that whoever it was won't catch her. As the wolf walked along the old path, it triggered some memories in Alexis's head, the worst memories that she could remember.

"Shantun?" She heard the wolf said, and not long after the words left her mouth, the wolf leaped at the brush that Alexis hid when those memories flash back to her. Alexis knew she wouldn't be able to dodge the wolf, so she stood there, waiting for the impact.
